We spent the past week in Los Angeles for Brad & Ashley's (Rustin's sister) wedding. We loaded up the car with everything we could possibly need for a 10-week-old baby and took a road trip. Lucca was perfect in the car! We stopped every couple of hours to feed/change her and she didn't seem to mind the long drive one bit. Thank GOD. The wedding was beautiful! We called Lucca the "honorary flower girl". It was so fun to spend time with the entire Chao family. Rustin's mom rented out an amazing home in Manhattan Beach for us all to stay together. We hit up a few of our old stomping grounds, including our favorite breakfast spot, Uncle Bill's Pancake House (twice!). Such great memories!!
A huuuge thanks to my parents who helped out with Lucca during all the wedding festivities (not that they mind holding Lucca!) But I don't know what we would have done otherwise since Rustin and I were both in the wedding :)

A big highlight of the trip was "Mema" meeting baby Lucca for the first time! Lucca's middle name
Elizabeth was chosen to honor Mema, who is such a special part of Rustin's life. Mema got Lucca to smile quite a bit and assured us that Lucca is a "very intelligent girl" ...
