Tomorrow is the last day of the omg-not-even-close-to-being-terrible TWO'S.

Seriously, two year olds are the best.

We shall celebrate the last day of being 2 by doing some of your favorite things. We plan on going to Cibo in Sausalito for (coffee &) a muffin. Going to music class. Eating peanut butter and jelly for lunch. Watching Berenstain Bears before nap (a big deal). Having dinner with Grammie & Pops. Picking out new jammies to wear to bed on the last night of being two.

And giving you all the cuddles and smooches we possibly can before you become a 3 year old.

Holy moly.

"Well I'm TWO"

Today, I asked my sweet two-year-old if she would please, please stay two forever. She said yes! Hallelujah!

The best day

Not gonna lie, we live in a pret-ty spectacular part of the world.

On this winter sunny February day, we went hiking, planted flowers and even started planting my first herb & vegetable garden. Something I've been looking forward to doing for 5 years! Whoop.

Our hike was kid friendly, obviously, as we took the most awesome two year old who hiked all two miles by herself. The girl hasn't sat in a stroller since she was one, so it's no wonder she goes on 2-mile hikes. She was born for adventure, we realized that very early on...

And our big Stone had the best seat in the house on mama's back. That sweet boy loves being outside just as much as his big sis. Many, many more hikes in our future with these nature lovers.

Thanks to my parents help today, I am now a gardener. Okay that title might be a bit ambitious, but I did plant my very first flowers veggies & herbs. SO MUCH FUN going to the nursery and choosing my favorite things to plant. Hello ranunculus & snap dragons! Hello basil & mint! And beets & Brussels sprouts & arugula & cilantro & sugar snap peas & zucchini, and and and!

So excited, can you tell?

I love weekends, I love my family, I love California and I love being 30.

Sometimes being a grown up IS fun.

Lucca ADORES Jackson.

She can't keep her hands off of him. I kind of love it. Even if the following words come out of my mouth daily, sometimes hourly ..

"Lucca, stop kissing Jackson"

"Don't touch his eyeballs"

"Hug his belly, not his neck"

"Try not to tip him over"

"Don't pull his hair" (but mommyyyyyy it's so soft!)

She just has so much dang love for this dude she doesn't know what to do. It makes me super thankful for all the time they spend together these days. They really do have something special. And me and my big ol' mama heart just explode with happiness watching them.
