He's sick. I'm tired. Bedtime is {sometimes} chaotic. But when the house is still & quiet, and we have time to breathe again, a big huge smile comes to my face as I think about this happy, little life we've built with each other. I'm so thankful for the quiet moments spent together at the end of each day. Time to connect, gather thoughts, focus & reorganize before it all starts again in the morning. Sometimes we dream of a small house in a foreign setting where life is slow and simple, but really, these quiet moments at the end of our busy days are all I really need.
