Mother's Day

I had the best Mother's Day.  Having two kids of my own has certainly grown my appreciation, respect and love for my own mother.  Being a mom is hard work!  It's crazy that I've just realized that fact in the past couple years, because my whole life my mom made mothering look easy.  I assure you, it is not easy.   But mom, you always did it with such fun, grace and ease.  I am still learning from you when I watch you with my own kids...

The best weekend

From Sonoma to Tiburon, we took full advantage of the gorgeous weekend. Winery picnic, farmers market, ice cream on the water, bike rides, Sam's Cafe, the park...and a new piano! To say we had an awesome weekend is an understatement. Lucca & Jackson, our little adventurers. Can't wait til next weekend!

Lucca has been getting herself more time outs these days. She is not a naughty girl, she has the sweetest spirit and a whole lotta love in her heart. Sometimes a little too much love, for Jackson in particular. She just can't keep her hands off him. This is what sends her on time outs.

For the LOVE. I realize this is not a bad problem to have, too much love, but we are workin' on our big sister listening skills :)

Lulu's 3rd Birthday!

WEll, well, well....turns out life is BUSY with a 1 year old and 3 year old.

Someone coulda told me!

We've had a pretty jam packed month, can't really imagine it being any more full (or awesome) than it was. In the past 30 days, Lucca turned THREE, we had a birthday party, Mimi & Papa came from Atlanta, the Swishers from Washington, Grammie & Pops from Folsom, we went to Paris (!) for our 5 year wedding anniversary, we came home, repacked and went to Augusta for the Masters Tournament, flew back home across the country on Jackson's 1st birthday, and then went to Folsom for a week while Daddy was shooting a commercial in LA. Whew.
